Role Summary:

The Manager/Asst. Manager Business Development (Fabrication Division) will be responsible for driving revenue growth, OEM account acquisition, and customer relationship management for the fabrication business. This role requires a unique combination of technical understanding of fabrication processes and strong commercial acumen, enabling the candidate to engage effectively with decision-makers, close high-value contracts, and support long-term business partnerships.

The position demands frequent customer interactions, travel, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless order execution and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, generate, and convert business opportunities in B2B and OEM markets (domestic & international).
  • Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue growth, and new customer acquisitions for the Fabrication Division.
  • Develop sales strategies and account plans for target markets and industries.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key OEMs and decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and business reviews.
  • Act as the primary contact for all customer inquiries, negotiations, and escalations.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: inquiry quotation negotiation order closure.
  • Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and operations teams for cost estimation, technical feasibility, and order execution.
  • Ensure timely communication of delivery schedules and order progress to customers.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to build brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Conduct competitor and market intelligence to identify trends, pricing benchmarks, and growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and collateral to strengthen the companys brand in the fabrication sector.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:

    BE / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience:

    8-12 years in B2B/OEM Sales, preferably in fabrication or mechanical components
  • Proven track record in generating new business and managing large OEM accounts.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding, machining, and assembly.
