Associate - TRS/MUM/0938 - TRS - US Tax

As a Senior Associate in the TRS- Direct Tax (US Tax) department at BDO India, your role involves managing the offshore team in India and reporting to the onshore reporting manager. Your responsibilities include ensuring that project tasks, deadlines, and expectations are met, preparing deliverables for completeness, quality, and consistency, and collaborating effectively with the onshore team in the US. You should possess superior verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, decision-making skills, and the capacity to work well in a team environment. Additionally, you should be capable of developing and maintaining client relationships. Qualifications required for this role include a CA / CMA/ CA Inter/ MBA degree, at least 2-3 years of experience, and working knowledge of federal 1040/1120/1065 tax returns, multi-state tax returns (SALT), and the international portion of US federal tax returns. It is preferred that you have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relevant field, with a Master's degree in accounting or taxation being beneficial. CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (or in the process of pursuing) is desirable, along with experience in US Tax Laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, tax compliance process software, and tax research databases is also expected.
