Role & responsibilities Roles & Responsibility: Plan, design, develop, and implement test cases and test scenarios in line with the project-specific requirements. Writing Business Value test cases for Automation. Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Analyze failed tests and Manage defects with Jira, a bug-tracking tool. Provide managers with feedback on additional enhancements. Continuously improves your understanding of the System's functionality. Identifying and resolving the bugs raised by the client within the time frame specified. Tasks must be completed by the expected and agreed-upon deadlines. Overcalls or remote sessions, assist customers in understanding and testing system features. Prepare MIS and task reporting for all tasks, as well as periodic performance reviews. Prepare formal documents that will help customers test the functionality of systems on their own. Record, track, and document the problem-solving process from beginning to end, including all effective and ineffective choices and actions. To ensure that problems have been adequately resolved, test fixes, and conduct post-resolution follow-ups. In the event of an emergency, visit the site to resolve bugs. Required Skills: Strong passion for testing and quality. Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC. Through Knowledge of Manual concepts. Through Knowledge about the Defect Life cycle. Know how to write highly effective test cases. Excellent knowledge of Test Scenarios and Test Cases. Knowledge of Basics of SQL. Idea about Agile Methodology and agile testing. A thorough grasp of the many forms (types) of testing is required. Excellent communication and organizing skills. Must be creative, know how to manage time, be a critical thinker, flexible, and collaborative. Hands-on Excel/Word experience is required. The ability to swiftly establish positive client working relationships. Good To Have: ISTQB Certification. Knowledge of FTP/SFTP/Network standard protocols. Any course on manual testing will be beneficial. Experience with QA scripting languages and unit test coding may be advantageous. Knowledge of BFSI and BFSI Compliance. Knowledge of operating systems.
