Associate, Technology Public Relations

Role Overview: Join our dynamic Corporate Center communications team as a communications expert, collaborating with colleagues across India and globally. Reporting to the VP of Public Relations for India Corporate Centers, you will share stories through various media channels to reach the public and our 250,000+ employees. This role requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and a creative mindset. A positive and collaborative spirit is essential for working across time zones and various business functions. Experience in technology media is considered a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Work in partnership with Media Relations and Communications colleagues globally to support the development and execution of a multi-faceted communications strategy for Global Technology. - Craft media plans and key messages for leadership and key spokespeople. - Write media pitches, press releases, blog posts, and other public-facing content. - Develop and maintain relationships with relevant national, trade, and local media to secure positive coverage opportunities. - Support holistic public relations campaigns across traditional, social, and digital media. - Collaborate effectively with the local India Communications team and support PR for the corporate centers as required. - Identify opportunities to leverage the firm's award-winning research with the media and create new thought leadership content. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of news or media relations experience. - Ability to identify, tell, and share compelling stories with excellent writing skills. - Strong executive presence and ability to advise and work with senior management. - Fluency across social media and other communications channels. - Excellent judgment in handling sensitive issues related to media. - Ability to partner effectively across a large, matrixed organization. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize high-volume initiatives. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a creative approach to problem-solving. Additional Details: Experience using PowerPoint, Photoshop, and similar communications software is preferred. Strong understanding of the media landscape and existing relationships with national, trade, and local media are advantageous.,
