Associate Technical Quality Analyst

Role Overview: As a QA Automation Engineer at NationsBenefits, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications through automated testing using Playwright. Your responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts, contributing to scalability and performance testing, and validating backend functionality. Key Responsibilities: - Test Automation & Execution: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to validate web application functionality, performance, and reliability. - Execute tests across multiple browsers to ensure compatibility and consistency. - Debug test failures, identify root causes, and implement solutions for test reliability. - Maintain and optimize the test automation framework to align with application updates. - Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD): - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/GitHub for continuous delivery. - Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline automation in the software release cycle. - Performance & Scalability Optimization: - Conduct scalability and performance testing to evaluate the application's ability to handle high workloads. - Utilize tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner for simulating and analyzing user interactions. - API Testing & Backend Validation: - Develop and execute API tests using Postman, Playwright API, or REST to validate backend functionality. - Collaboration & Reporting: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios and prioritize testing efforts. - Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback on software quality to stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Education & Certification: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: - 3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation using Playwright. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation. - Experience with Playwright or similar automation tools. - Understanding of web technologies and API testing tools. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools for test automation integration. - Experience with scalability and performance testing tools. - Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.
