Associate - Statutory Audit

Role Overview: As an Experienced Associate at BDO EDGE India Private Limited, you will be joining the Audit & Assurance team to contribute to financial audits in the Technology Sector. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with accounting standards, delivering high-quality assurance services to clients, and collaborating with senior team members to provide insights into internal controls, financial performance, and risk management. Key Responsibilities: - Perform end-to-end financial statement audits, including planning, execution, and reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements and firm guidelines. - Conduct audit procedures such as analytical reviews, substantive testing, and control walkthroughs. - Document and evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls. - Collaborate with clients to collect financial data and support documentation. - Work closely with senior associates and managers to ensure timely completion of audit engagements. - Identify potential issues or areas for improvement and communicate findings to senior team members. - Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with audit findings and regulatory/professional standards. - Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues affecting financial reporting and auditing standards. - Foster a positive team environment by demonstrating initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to learn. Qualifications Required: - ACCA Affiliate with 6 months to 3 years of experience in Statutory Audit from the Technology Sector. - Fully qualified ACCA Members are suitable for this role. - Experience in auditing technology clients is a must. - Exposure to auditing listed and non-listed large companies. - Working knowledge of FRS102/IFRS and financial reporting requirements. - Geography experience in the UK and Ireland is preferred.
