As a Credit Underwriting professional, your role will involve giving effective credit support to meet business targets and framing the lending policy framework, processes, and workflow to help set up the mortgages business in India. You will be responsible for approving credit applications judiciously as per the Delegation of Authority (DOA) and ensuring that the quality of the Banks exposure in India is acceptable at all times. Your guidance will be crucial in supporting the team of relationship managers on areas of policy and processes. You are expected to deliver 15 to 20 Project Deliverables (PDs), which consist of around 50 to 60 visits. Key Responsibilities: - Provide effective credit support for meeting business targets - Frame the lending policy framework, processes, and workflow to assist in setting up the mortgages business in India - Approve credit applications judiciously as per the Delegation of Authority (DOA) - Ensure the quality of the Banks exposure in India is acceptable at all times - Provide guidance to the team of relationship managers on areas of policy and processes - Deliver 15 to 20 Project Deliverables (PDs), which consist of around 50 to 60 visits Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in Credit Underwriting with an overall experience of 10 years - Underwriting skills in Financial and Self-Assessment Method - Analytical skills about Customer Profile/Business Please note that the primary location for this role is in India-Tamil Nadu-Trichy Main.
