Role This role is to work as a E2E Solution Design Professional as part of our Solution and Architectural Design Function. Work location Pan India Technology Stack Ciena BP (SOM Architecture), APIGEE Gateway, Velocity, TM Forum API, Service Design, Provisioning and Activation Responsibilities Take overall responsibility of requirements clarification and solution design of reusable solutions, with an intention to converge onto the target IT architecture defined for Enterprise/WS Lead a virtual cross functional team of n/w solution designers, component designers and process designers to plan and deliver the E2E OSS Solution designs assigned to you. Take responsibility of the implementation of a solution in collaboration with a matrixed team of delivery managers, system designers and developers, testers To ensure reusable solution patterns are aligned to architectural guardrails and baselined on the designated central repository for reference and re use To own and manage the solution designs in her/his respective domains through various delivery modes (viz. waterfall/agile) Applies technical expertise to design and develop reusable solution patterns focussed on the respective domain Accountable for solution design conforms to the standard Global architectural principles and OPEN API frameworks Creates, owns and implements the technical solutions and inputs into the roadmaps for the respective domain Liaises with Network designers and business stakeholders, program managers ensuring business needs are met through assurance of the design To work with respective delivery and engineering teams and colleagues across BT to ensure projects are successful Desired skills & experience Should have deep knowledge of at least one telecommunication related technology covering either of the following areasHE/MEAS/Broadband Should have prior hands on experience on designing end to end solutions in the Telecommunications service domain Should have good knowledge of eTOM or ITIL or similar standards in the telecoms space Showcased expertise on a project or a specific piece of work Made decisions in ambiguous situations using incomplete information or differing opinions (e.g. unclear deliverables) From Ravi Meenakshi which is received from Shirdhar Pai 1. Will be responsible for Network OSS Design specially in Infrastructure Plan & Build, Inventory, Business Process & Workflow Automation, Activation, Orchestration and Fulfillment 2. Will define OSS Solution for IP/MPLS, Access, Transmission Networks, and SDN/NFV based converged network. 3. Will Drive E2E Solution Design for BT Critical Programs like GWAN, HE, WMC, MEAS, Dynamic Infrastructure Automation etc. 4. Focus area will be network OSS fulfilment & planning domains, specifically Logical & Physical Resource Plan & Build and inventory management areas of Networks. 5. Will drive how OSS and BSS interwork E2E to support digital transformation and transformation in the Customer user experience. 6. Will drive Telecom technologies and standards such as BPMN, CI/CD, NetDevOps etc in Digital OSS transformation. 7. Will be hands on person who will define OSS Solution design and holds expertise inwriting functional specification, system & interface specification, HLD and Detailed design for OSS systems as required. 8. Will define Network OSS solution for network technology & devices from Nokia, Cisco, Ciena, Huawei, Adva etc. 9. Experienced in writing the YANG and TOSCA Templates (Design as Code)
