Associate Software Tester

As an experienced Software Tester at Ably Soft, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of all projects through the Quality Control phase. Your responsibilities will include: - Handling multiple projects simultaneously, learning new applications quickly, and testing on a variety of platforms. - Executing performance testing, security testing, and reliability testing to ensure applications/systems perform according to design and end-user specifications. - Reviewing requirements specifications and technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. - Collaborating with the project team to achieve quality objectives by writing clear and concise test cases. - Contributing to the company's performance and scalability testing efforts. You should meet the following qualifications and requirements: - Should have worked in a web/mobile solutions development company and be proficient in Functional, Usability, and Reliability testing. - Knowledge of security testing and Automation (Selenium) testing is advantageous. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Experience in coordinating with different team leaders/project stakeholders to prepare test plans, test cases, and supporting documents. - Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management. - Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodology, and Bug tracking tools. - Strong team player with a positive attitude and knowledge of different types of testing, approaches, and tools. - Stay updated on the latest web and mobile testing techniques. Additionally, the preferred qualifications include: - 0-1 year of experience in E-commerce, Online Market Places, Mobile Applications, CMS, Open Source Scripts, Social networking portals, On-Demand Service Portals. - Educational background in B. Tech, BCA, B. Sc (IT), M. Tech, MCA, or M. Sc (IT). Foreign Language proficiency is a plus. - Excellent technical abilities, strong communication skills, and effective project management abilities.
