Associate Software Engineer, ServiceNow

Role Expectations In this role, you will: Develop and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party platforms, applications, and systems using out-of-the-box plugins, API methods, and modern integration techniques. Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for HR Service Delivery and other web applications on the ServiceNow platform using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, and other web technologies. Develop custom APIs, connectors, and workflows to enable bi-directional data exchange and system interoperability. Utilize standard platform functionality to build and maintain solutions, including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, data policies, ACLs, UI actions, script includes, transform maps, and workflows. Write efficient server-side scripts using GlideRecord methods to minimize processing time. Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to support integration needs, including REST/SOAP web services and scripting. Code, debug, document, deploy, and maintain solutions in a highly efficient and effective manner. Enforce best practices around software engineering architecture and processes, including code reviews and unit testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, analysts, process owners, and stakeholders to develop and implement integrated solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, conduct system testing, and ensure stability and reliability. Document implementation procedures for knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging integration technologies, and best practices. Provide guidance on integrating new platforms and systems. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldor equivalent experience. 57 years of experience as a Software Developer, with a focus on ServiceNow development and third-party integrations. Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including UI policies, client scripts, business rules, workflows, and integrations. Experience building web applications on the ServiceNow platform using ESC Pro Portal, UI Pages, UI Scripts, UI Macros, and other ServiceNow tools. Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems such as SaaS, IaaS, legacy systems, on-premises apps, databases, or data sources. Strong skills in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, and other integration protocols. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Effective communication and collaboration skills; self-motivated and flexible in working with cross-functional teams. Highly desirable : ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist.
