Associate Software Engineer

You may also engage in development coding individually or assisting other team members, participating in code reviews or solution architecture discussions, keeping up-to-date with the latest technical advances, and programming work using various coding skills. Additionally, you will participate in project management meetings when necessary and ensure the project team adheres to the organization's defined processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Business analysis and effective communication - Documenting requirements, technical specifications, and user guides - Development coding and assisting team members - Participating in code reviews and solution architecture discussions - Keeping abreast of the latest technical advances - Programming work using coding skills - Participating in project management meetings - Ensuring adherence to organizational processes **Qualifications Required:** - 1+ years of experience with recommended Bachelor's in Engineering/Master of Computer Applications/Master of Computer Science or related certifications - Sound knowledge of the software development life cycle and hands-on coding experience - Coding skills/technologies required: C# .NET Core, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Understanding of software development lifecycle, AGILE, and SCRUM methodologies - Understanding of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns - Problem-solving, debugging & troubleshooting skills - Experience with writing SQL database scripts using T-SQL or PL/SQL - Recent frontend software development experience in HTML, CSS, and Javascript - Experience in web development with ASP.NET using C#.NET Core - Understanding of web application security best practices - Effective communication skills in technical and layman's terms - Ambitious with a desire to learn new skills - Ability to work effectively under pressure and drive for clarity - Capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently As part of Gallagher, you will be contributing to a culture of inclusion and diversity, supporting sustainability, and serving the communities where you live and work.
