Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in manual testing and hands-on exposure to automation frameworks , with the curiosity and ownership to grow into a well-rounded QA professional. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure product quality across AcmeMinds projects.

Job Responsibilities

Understand project requirements and prepare test plans, test cases, and test data.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs through defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira). Collaborate with developers and project managers to reproduce and resolve issues.
Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
Ensure test coverage, consistency, and adherence to QA best practices.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and review meetings in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Job Requirement/Skills

1-3 years of QA experience in both manual and automation testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Experience with manual testing for web and mobile apps.
Knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python (basic level acceptable).
Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).
Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Familiarity with performance testing concepts
