Associate Project Engineer (Automation & Control)

You have an exciting opportunity to join a global market leader in the Maritime Industry as an Associate Project Engineer (Automation & Control) based in Mahape, Navi Mumbai. With 2 to 4 years of experience in Process Automation, you will play a key role in designing and developing automation systems for marine vessels and offshore platforms. Your responsibilities will include managing projects from specification to delivery and sea trials, troubleshooting and upgrading existing automation systems, ensuring compliance with international maritime standards and regulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You will have the opportunity to conduct testing and validation of automation systems, provide technical support and training to clients and crew members, and stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in marine automation. To excel in this role, you should have a good track record in the Maritime industry, experience in designing and maintaining marine automation systems, familiarity with international maritime standards and regulations, and ideally experience with Dynamic Positioning systems and ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, project management skills, and cultural awareness are essential qualities for success in this position. You should be willing to travel and work on-site as required, possess valid travel documents, and be prepared to travel on short notice to any part of the world wherever the company deems safe.
