As an Associate Program Director For MS at Medtronic, your role will involve planning, directing, and implementing all aspects of the company's design and development of new medical device products or software systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies, guiding the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes, or products, and managing feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development, organizing the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery, and selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Key Responsibilities: - Plans, directs, and implements design and development of new medical device products or software systems - Develops, evaluates, implements, and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards - Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies - Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes, or products - Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release - Manages feasibility studies of the design - Monitors documentation maintenance - Organizes coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants - Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel Qualifications Required: - Broad management knowledge and experience to lead project teams - Mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline - Baccalaureate degree or equivalent At Medtronic, a commitment to employees is at the core of the company's values.
