ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - NURSING

Job Description:

Shri Sai College of Nursing and Paramedical invites applications from qualified and committed candidates for the position of Assistant Professor (Nursing) in the following specialties:

• Medical-Surgical Nursing (MSN)
• Obstetrics & Gynaecological (OBG)
• Child Health Nursing (CHN)
• Pediatrics Nursing
• Mental Health Nursing (MHN)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver theory lectures, practical demonstrations, and clinical teaching as per INC and university guidelines
• Prepare and implement detailed lesson plans, teaching schedules, and academic calendars
• Supervise and guide students during clinical postings, ward duties, and case presentations
• Conduct internal assessments, practical exams, viva, and evaluations
• Maintain academic records, attendance, logbooks, and student performance reports
• Mentor students for academic improvement, discipline, and professional development
• Participate in curriculum development, academic meetings, workshops, and training programs
• Assist in research activities, seminars, conferences, and publications
• Support admission counseling, student orientation, and institutional promotional activities when required
• Ensure compliance with INC norms, clinical protocols, and college policies
• Contribute to quality assurance, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Eligibility Criteria:

• M.Sc. Nursing in the relevant specialty
• Valid INC & State Nursing Council registration
• Teaching/clinical experience as per INC norms
• Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills
• Ready to Relocate

Salary:

Salary will be as per qualification, experience, and college norms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Patna, Bihar: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
