Associate or Senior Editor, Nature Communications

As an Associate or Senior Editor at Nature Communications focusing on metabolism, hepatology, and nephrology, you will be part of the leading multidisciplinary Open Access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scientific research. To qualify for this position, you should hold a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field such as metabolism, hepatology, or nephrology, along with substantial research experience. A keen understanding of recent trends and advancements in the field is crucial, as is a genuine enthusiasm for scientific discovery and a willingness to broaden your knowledge beyond your specific area of expertise. Strong communication skills, fluency in English (both written and spoken), and the ability to critically evaluate research submissions across various disciplines are essential. The annualized base salary for this role ranges from $74,000 for Associate Editors to $91,000 for Senior Editors.
