Job Description

Role Overview: As an experienced Audit professional, you will be joining the Operational Risk audit team at Morgan Stanley's U.S. Banks as an Associate. Your main responsibility will be to execute various assurance activities to assess risk and evaluate the control environment. The Audit division provides senior management with an impartial assessment of the Firm's internal control environment for risk management and governance. This position falls within the Business Audit, focusing on inspecting controls in front, middle, and back offices. Key Responsibilities: - Help identify risks and their impact on the Operational Risk area to prioritize focus areas - Execute assurance activities such as audits, continuous monitoring, and closure verification to assess risk and form a view on the control environment - Engage in conversations with stakeholders about risks, their impact, and how well they are managed in a clear and structured manner - Assist in managing multiple deliverables according to team priorities - Solicit and provide feedback, and participate in formal and on-the-job training to enhance self and peers" development Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of relevant experience in operational risk management, audit, or business and management consulting - Familiarity with operational and business risk management is highly preferred - Ability to review and challenge processes and utilize data analytics in assurance work - Ability to analyze multiple data sources to inform a point of view - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including proficiency in PowerPoint/presentation skills - Commitment to practicing inclusive behaviors Company Additional Details: Morgan Stanley, a global leader in financial services since 1935, operates in more than 40 countries worldwide, constantly evolving to better serve clients and communities.
