Job Description

"Graduate, Diploma in Engineering. B.Sc Chemistry / Physics / Statistics / Diploma in Textile Technology

Basic knowledge of ISO, TQM, OHSAS Safety.

Knowledge in Testing Equipment handling, Test methods Approval process, Computer operating/report making skills, Interacting skills with cross-functional teams, Environment and Safety awareness, good coordination skills with Production and Dispatch.

People handling skills.

MIS report preparation, Preparation/Interpretation of Customer Specification, Ability to conduct Process/Product Audits, Monitoring various change control process.

Review the orders received and evaluate the Customer requirement, seek customer clarifications where needed, confirm order acceptance for planning and production.
Monitor No. of deviations reported by QA and take correction with respect to EPD, PPD and GSM.
Update Spec in OPM for new development trials/ changes in existing styles.
Attend to Technical issues of Length, Width, Reed line marks, trim width to facilitate production.
Monitor progress of trial orders in the shopfloor, update trial roll test results for review and clear for FG.
Develop and communicate testing plans for trial rolls in consultation with QA.
Carry out review of all existing specifications and update them based on shopfloor experience.
Update dip condition for all new styles/ existing styles based on review.
Regular update of Customer matrix sheet , R12 base sheet, and specification sheet for Max tape length
Monitor order status periodically.
Prepare for internal IMS Audits.
Prepare Monthly reports.
Maintain and improve 5S in workplace.
