Job Summary

The Associate Manager Quality is responsible for managing the quality assurance framework across key F&A processes such as Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), Record to Report (R2R), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The role involves identifying and eliminating quality gaps, ensuring compliance with internal controls and client SLAs, and driving continuous process improvement in alignment with industry best practices.


Job Profile/ Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Supervise a team of Quality Analysts responsible for end-to-end quality monitoring of F&A transactions
  2. Ensure compliance with client-specific SLAs, internal control frameworks, and financial regulations (SOX, GAAP, etc.).
  3. Monitor accuracy and timeliness of key F&A transactions such as invoice processing, journal entries, reconciliations, AR collections, and month-end close.
  4. Analyse quality trends and operational data to identify errors, process inefficiencies, and control gaps.
  5. Implement Corrective and Preventive Action Plans (CAPA) based on root cause analysis of recurring issues
  6. Conduct regular process audits and share actionable insights to drive operational excellence.
  7. Design and update Quality Control Plans, SOPs, and transaction checklists in collaboration with Process SMEs and Compliance teams.
  8. Facilitate calibration sessions, quality workshops, and knowledge refreshers for operations teams.
  9. Prepare and present quality dashboards, variance reports, and audit results to stakeholders.
  10. Support internal and external audits, and help in readiness for certifications (e.g., ISO, SOC 1/2, etc.).
  11. Actively involved in client/stakeholder interactions and reporting
  12. Create and manage effective action plans in response to gaps identified through the monitoring process

Required Skills/ Experience

  1. Strong knowledge of core F&A functions – P2P, O2C, R2R, and FP&A
  2. Experience with F&A systems like Peoplesoft, Oracle, BlackLine, or NetSuite.
  3. Familiarity with financial compliance frameworks such as SOX, GAAP, IFRS.
  4. Advanced Excel and reporting skills; experience with automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx) is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in quality tools like RCA, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, and Six Sigma concepts.
  6. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and manage audits, escalations, and multiple priorities \
  8. Preferred industry background: Travel, Tourism, Leisure, and Holiday (TTLH) sector

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting (MBA Finance, CA Inter, or CMA Inter preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt certification preferred
