Associate Manager II - Taxation

As an Associate Manager II in the Taxation team at Navi in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's tax obligations and ensuring compliance. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting various tax projects undertaken by the Tax Team - Identifying tax optimization opportunities and tax risks in the Group - Providing regular updates to Management and Business on various direct and indirect tax updates impacting the business - Dealing with tax authorities and liaising with counsels - Coordinating/Project Management with key stakeholders on tax projects - Coordinating with external consultants - Providing technical support and undertaking detailed research on complex tax issues - Undertaking tax compliances (TDS, GST, Corporate tax return, and tax audits) for the Group Qualifications required for this role are: - CA with 3-4 years of experience in consulting/industry - Expert knowledge and understanding of both direct and indirect taxes - Experience in dealing with Tax officers - Experience in direct and indirect tax compliances - International tax experience desirable (though not mandatory) - Good knowledge of accounting standards and Ind AS - Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for articulating - Strong problem-solving skills - A self-starter and proactive individual who can interact with various stakeholders and influence people with no reporting relationship About Navi: Navi is on a mission to make finance simple, accessible, and affordable for a billion Indians.
