SAP Fiori Consultant (S/4HANA Migration)

Role Overview

SAP Fiori/UI5 Consultant

• Fiori Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.


• Migration Support: Adapt and extend standard Fiori apps to align with S/4HANA migration requirements.


• Integration: Build and consume OData services, CDS views, and AMDP for backend integration.


• Customization: Configure and enhance SAP Fiori Launchpad, tiles, catalogs, and groups.


• Performance Optimization: Ensure apps are optimized for HANA s in-memory architecture.


• Work closely with S4 HANA ABAP, BASIS, and functional teams to ensure smooth migration.


• Testing & Validation: Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing of Fiori apps.


• Documentation & Training: Prepare technical documentation and train end-users on Fiori applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• SAP Fiori/UI5: Strong expertise in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.


• S/4HANA Migration: Hands-on experience in migration projects, adapting ECC customizations to S/4HANA.


• OData Services: Proficiency in developing and consuming OData services.


• CDS Views & AMDP: Experience in leveraging HANA-native features for app development.


• SAP Launchpad: Configuration and customization of Fiori Launchpad.


• Expertise (CDS/OData; Fiori/UI5).


• Adv. ABAP (oData/HANA/CDS/SAPUI5/BOPF).


• Trouble Shooting Techniques; Outputs processing (PPF) Concepts.


• Programming expertise on SAP TM.


• Master data / CIF; Process/Document flows; BOPF; CIFF.


• CDS Associations; CDS Annotations.


• Development expertise on CDS/Odata.


• UI5 Basics; Models/Binding/Routing; UI5 annotations; Smart controls.


• Fiori Elements; Standard App activations; Extensions.


• Fiori Launchpad configuration (Theme Designer) - Desirable.


• Role Management (Catalog/Groups).


• Experience in design, development, and maintenance of all the SAP UI5/Fiori and other web applications that are integrated with SAP using Fiori elements and RAP/BOPF


• Experience to perform end-to-end configuration of FIORI


• Experience in UI5 related programming like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS etc


• Hand-on experience in developing CDS data models and OData services is preferred


• Leadership: Capable of mentoring junior developers and leading technical workstreams.


• Communication: Strong client-facing communication and documentation skills.
