Job Description: Associate Land Surveyor Position : Associate Land Surveyor Industry: Real Estate – Land Survey Services Experience : Minimum 3-5 years in boundary & digital survey Location : Coimbatore Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Associate Land Surveyor with expertise in boundary and digital surveys. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate land measurements, mapping, and documentation, while also upgrading their skills and knowledge in the latest surveying technologies. Additionally, this role offers an opportunity to acquire new business from the market, allowing the surveyor to earn incentives and gain an advantage in job appraisals through successful business development efforts. Key Responsibilities: Surveying & Technical Expertise: Conduct boundary surveys to determine legal property lines and land ownership. Perform digital surveys using advanced tools such as GPS, drones, and GIS mapping. Ensure accuracy in land measurements, mapping, and documentation. Stay updated on surveying techniques, legal requirements, and industry advancements. Business Development & Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire new business opportunities in land surveying and registration services. Build relationships with promoters, builders, architects, bank managers, and DSAs to generate leads. Promote surveying services to potential clients and expand market reach. Work towards sales targets to earn incentives and enhance job appraisal ratings. Collaboration & Compliance: Work closely with legal teams, engineers, and real estate professionals to ensure survey accuracy. Ensure compliance with local land laws, regulations, and documentation standards. Provide technical insights to clients regarding land registration and survey processes. Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain detailed records of survey activities, client interactions, and business acquisitions. Prepare survey reports, maps, and legal documentation for clients and authorities. Utilize digital tools and software for efficient survey data management. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Survey Accuracy: Precision and reliability of boundary and digital surveys. Timely Completion: Efficiency in completing surveys within deadlines. Client Satisfaction: Positive feedback and repeat business from clients. Business Acquisition: Number of new clients onboarded for survey services. Revenue Contribution: Sales generated through business development efforts. Skill Enhancement: Participation in training programs and adoption of new technologies. Key Requirements (KRIs): Proven experience in boundary and digital surveys with a strong technical background. Knowledge of advanced surveying tools such as GPS, drones, GIS, and total stations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for accurate land assessments. Ability to acquire new business and generate revenue through client engagement. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for business development. Willingness to upgrade skills through training and industry certifications. Proficiency in survey software and digital mapping tools. Willingness to travel for field surveys and client meetings. Preferred Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Prior experience in land registration, boundary surveys, and digital mapping.
