Job Description

As an Associate in the Knowledge Management team at Bain Capability Network, you will be responsible for supporting global knowledge management within an industry or capability Practice. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing and preparing content contributions to the global knowledge base - Removing confidential information from client engagement materials and standardizing them as per Bain standards - Writing abstracts and tagging materials to ensure easy access for Bain case teams within Bains internal knowledge base - Posting content on Bains internal knowledge base for global teams working on similar topics - Ensuring compliance guidelines are followed by case teams when submitting case summaries and proposals - Supervising the efforts of the Junior Knowledge Associate team in sanitizing & disguising content, coaching on practice-specific requirements, and ensuring quality standards are met - Managing content quality by identifying duplicative content, storylining content, and archiving lower usage content from the knowledge base - Assisting in the creation and periodic refresh of select practice content, credentials, and overall Practice area pages - Supporting Senior Knowledge Specialists with straightforward requests and knowledge capture tasks - Conducting practice analytics using tools like Alteryx, Tableaux, and Excel to provide insights for Practice operational activities - Collaborating with Senior Knowledge Specialists to create and distribute regular newsletters to Practice affiliates on the latest cases, proposals, practice knowledge, and IP developments - Maintaining Practice trackers, databases, and affiliate lists/profiles In addition to the above responsibilities, you will work with the Product, Practice and Knowledge (PPK) department as part of the Knowledge Management team. The PPK group plays a crucial role in identifying, creating, and leveraging Bain's best content and expertise to help practice areas develop commercial strategies. The Knowledge Management team is instrumental in harnessing the expertise of consulting staff to deliver exceptional results for clients. Bain Capability Network, established in 2004, collaborates closely with global leadership and clients across various industries and capabilities. The network offers three delivery model archetypes - offshore, on-site, and hybrid - for seamless integration with case teams and practice areas. With dedicated teams in industries like Consumer Products, Retail, FS, Healthcare, and core capabilities such as Private Equity, Pricing, Corporate Finance, and Strategy, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects and initiatives.,
