Associate IS Engineer - MES

As an Associate IS Engineer MES at Amgen, your primary role will involve installing, upgrading, supporting, and maintaining the MES application to meet business needs while ensuring system availability and performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to align MES solutions with strategic goals and user needs. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with business and data stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data integrity and compliance across ETL pipelines. - Leading day-to-day operations and maintenance of Amgen's MES Platform and hosted applications. - Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in MES Platform ecosystem. - Analyzing functional and technical requirements, translating them into software architecture and design specifications. - Developing and executing tests to ensure software quality following IS change control and GxP Validation process. - Integrating with other systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality. - Designing, configuring, and implementing Amgen's NextGen MES, focusing on PAS|X platform technical deployments. - Providing technical support for PAS|X MES implementations, including requirements gathering, interface design, and system validation. - Troubleshooting technical challenges, incident response, and root cause analysis. Qualifications and Experience: - Masters or bachelor's degree with 0-1 year of Information Systems experience OR Associates degree with 2+ years of Information Systems experience. - 2-5 years of experience in the global pharmaceutical industry. - Experience in building solutions on an MES Platform. - Expertise in implementing and validating projects in GxP regulated environments. - Strong technical documentation and communication skills. Desirable Skills: - Experience with advanced modules of PAS|X MES. - Experience integrating MES with SAP S/4HANA and/or advanced automation/data platforms. - Familiarity with ISA-95 standards and supporting digital manufacturing initiatives. - Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and databases. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
