Associate Information Systems - Network Operations

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: Implement and maintain network infrastructure systems Configure and administer Cisco routing and switching equipment Manage F5 load balancers to ensure application availability and performance Administer Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP address management systems Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement appropriate solutions Perform regular network maintenance and planned upgrades Monitor network performance and conduct capacity planning Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures Implement network security measures and best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1 to 3 years of experience in Network Operations, OR Diploma with 4 to 7 years of experience in Network Operations, OR Preferred Qualifications: Must-Have Skills: Previous, or current, CCNA certification (required) Proven experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies (required) Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining F5 load balancers (required) Proficiency with Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions (required) Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.) Experience with network security concepts and implementation Good-to-Have Skills: CCIE certification Experience with SD-WAN solutions Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with network monitoring tools Knowledge of ITIL practices Experience with DevOps, S/W development and scripting Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SD-WAN) Familiarity with network orchestration platforms Good knowledge of industry tools Professional Certifications (please mention if the certification is preferred or mandatory for the role): CCNA certification (mandatory) CCNP certification (preferred) F5 Certified Administrator (preferred) Infoblox certification (preferred) Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities Team collaboration and knowledge sharing Adaptability to changing priorities and technologies
