Associate III - Product Engineering

Role Overview: As a Software Developer at UST, you will be responsible for developing applications, contributing to maintenance, and optimizing performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. You will also be guiding junior team members and ensuring adherence to timelines and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Understand product requirements and user stories from the customer discovery process - Ensure coverage of complex features with unit test cases - Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms, providing technical guidance to the team - Create effort estimation and ETA for assigned deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines/SLAs - Ensure code coverage and quality through active participation in code reviews - Execute test cases and prepare release documents in line with requirements - Influence and improve customer satisfaction - Contribute to product development, following SLA and delivery timelines - Provide technical inputs for product research, design, analysis, testing, and process improvement - Review test cases/test plan, conduct integration testing, and resolve defects/bugs - Provide inputs to technical publications and review documentation of key features - Resolve existing issues and provide input on module development status to the development lead Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Python 3.X, Advanced Python, and Java Web Services - Ability to understand and capture business requirements, interact with subject matter experts, and fine-tune solutions - Knowledge of software design and development practices, ensuring adherence to engineering practices at all stages of the software development process - Familiarity with IAAS cloud providers and their tool sets, application development lifecycle, and quality assurance processes - Basic understanding of user experience design and usability principles Additional Company Details: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that has been working with the world's best companies for over 20 years.
