You are a highly skilled Python Developer with extensive experience in WebSocket communication protocols, JWT-based authentication, and TLS security. As a Software Developer at UST in Trivandrum, you will be responsible for developing applications, contributing to maintenance, and optimizing performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. You will also oversee the developmental activities of junior team members with some guidance from the Product Engineer I. Your key responsibilities will include understanding product requirements and user stories from the customer discovery process, ensuring requirements coverage of complex features with unit test cases, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms, and providing technical guidance to the team to resolve challenging programming and design problems. You will be required to create effort estimations and ETAs for the deliverables assigned to ensure adherence to timelines/SLAs wherever applicable, participate actively in code reviews to ensure code coverage and code quality, and adhere to best practices and standards with provision of periodic status updates.
