Job Description

Role Overview: As a Derivatives Operations Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for managing the post-trade lifecycle of all derivative instruments. Your role will involve ensuring accurate and timely settlement, margin management, and reconciliation. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders will be a key aspect of this role. You should thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and possess strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Providing full post-trade support for all derivative instruments, including OTC and Exchange-Traded. - Monitoring and managing lifecycle events such as settlements, margin calls, and trade confirmations. - Managing margin and collateral processes, and maintaining timely communication with counterparties. - Performing daily trade matching, reconciliation, and resolution of breaks with brokers and custodians. - Ensuring accurate transmission of trade, cash, and position data to fund administrators. - Escalating unresolved issues and risks promptly to senior stakeholders. - Acting as a point of escalation for counterparties and internal teams regarding trade lifecycle issues. - Collaborating with internal teams to enhance workflows and minimize operational risk. - Maintaining and updating procedures, controls, and documentation. - Supporting the onboarding of new clients, products, and regulatory initiatives. - Assisting in mentoring junior team members and facilitating knowledge-sharing. Qualifications Required: - Education: A-Levels or equivalent (degree preferred but not mandatory) - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with trade booking systems - Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of derivatives, experience with OTC products (e.g., CDS, IRS, Options) - Operations Experience: Hands-on experience in trade settlements, margining, and reconciliation, exposure to middle or back-office functions in financial services - Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong communication (verbal and written), problem-solving aptitude, ability to prioritize and work under pressure - Work Ethic: Self-motivated and collaborative, willingness to contribute to process improvements About the Company: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with over 30,000 employees in 30 countries.
