Job Description

Role Overview: As an individual contributor at UST, you will be responsible for executing internal projects or small tasks of customer projects in various fields of VLSI Frontend, Backend, or Analog design with minimal supervision from the lead engineer. Your main goal will be to successfully complete assigned tasks within the defined domains on time and with minimal support. Key Responsibilities: - Work on any one task related to RTL Design, Module Verification, PD, DFT, Circuit Design, Analog Layout, STA, Synthesis, Design Checks, Signoff, etc. - Analyze and complete the assigned task within the defined domain successfully and on time with minimal support from senior engineers - Ensure quality delivery as approved by the senior engineer or project lead - Deliver clean modules that are easy to integrate at the top level - Ensure functional specifications and design guidelines are met without deviation - Document tasks and work performed - Meet project timelines as provided by the team lead/program manager - Assist in the delivery of intermediate tasks by other team members to ensure project progress - Participate in teamwork by supporting team members when needed - Perform additional tasks if any team member is unavailable - Proactively plan approaches to automate tasks and save design cycle time - Participate in technical discussions and forums Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in languages and programming skills such as System Verilog, Verilog, VHDL, UVM, C, C++, Assembly, Perl, TCL/TK, Makefile, Spice (any one) - Experience with EDA tools like Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor tool sets, and simulators - Strong technical knowledge in IP Spec Architecture Design, Micro Architecture, Functional Spec, Test Plan Verification, Bus Protocols, Physical Design, Circuit Design, Analog Layout, Synthesis, DFT, Floorplan, Clocks, P&R, STA Extraction, Physical Verification, etc. - Familiarity with technology including CMOS, FinFet, FDSOI, and various nanometer technologies - Previous project experience in RTL Design, Verification, DFT, Physical Design, STA, PV, Circuit Design, Analog Layout, etc. - Good understanding of design flow and methodologies used in designing - Ability to learn new skills if required - Strong communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that partners with the world's best companies to make a real impact through transformation.
