Associate II - Product Support

The role of L1 Production Support at UST requires at least 3 years of production support experience in IT environments. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of Java, including debugging and integration tasks, as well as basic proficiency in Java, databases, and SQL for troubleshooting and support tasks. The primary responsibility of this role is to respond swiftly to production incidents, diagnose and troubleshoot system and application issues, and collaborate with developers or infrastructure teams for root cause resolution. Key Responsibilities include Incident & Issue Management, where the candidate needs to respond quickly to production incidents, diagnose and troubleshoot system and application issues, and work with other teams for resolution. Collaboration & Communication is essential as the candidate will liaise with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to understand feature impacts and resolve escalations. The candidate may also need to participate in on-call rotations or night shifts to ensure 24/7 operational coverage when required. System Monitoring & Performance is another critical aspect of the role, involving monitoring application health, identifying performance bottlenecks, and coordinating remediation efforts. The candidate will also assist with production deployments, patches, and updates while following change-control processes to ensure operational stability. Documentation & Knowledge Management is also part of the responsibilities, where the candidate will maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, FAQs, and incident logs to facilitate knowledge sharing across the team. The candidate should possess skills in Production Support, Java, Debugging, and Troubleshooting to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
