As a member of the Bond Reference Data team at S&P Global, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operations of the bonds products and services. You will work closely with product management, business analysis, technology, and testing teams to support both internal and external clients. Your responsibilities will include researching and updating issued deals, covering international bond markets, operational maintenance of reference data products, and managing client queries and escalations. Additionally, you will be involved in identifying data quality improvement projects, enhancing operational efficiency, and conducting data analysis. Your role will also require you to liaise with counterparts globally, work on root cause analysis, and participate in user acceptance testing for new or enhanced product functionality. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research and update issued deals in the database - Cover international bond markets and expand the coverage - Maintain operational aspects of reference data product - Deliver set targets with desired quality parameters - Manage team workflow in the absence of the team leader - Identify data quality improvement projects - Enhance operational efficiency and database coverage - Manage client queries and escalations - Conduct data analysis - Liaise with counterparts/stakeholders globally - Work on root cause analysis for data inconsistencies - Participate in user acceptance testing for new or enhanced product functionality **Qualifications Required:** - Graduate degree/Post Graduate or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or Business - Keen interest in finance and up-to-date with global financial market news - Good knowledge of different types of fixed income debt and associated terms and conditions - Desirable knowledge of 3rd party vendor feeds - Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and Excel As an ideal candidate, you must possess superior communication skills, both written and verbal, along with problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
