Associate - External Audit

As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for managing the execution of external/statutory audit engagements for various clients. Your key responsibilities include: - Researching technical accounting issues - Maintaining a portfolio of clients, managing multiple deadlines, and further developing industry expertise - Identifying areas of risk within clients" businesses - Defining the appropriate audit approach - Liaising with peers to minimize gaps and overlaps, ensuring end-to-end coverage where auditable areas span business units/boundaries - Planning and coordinating various phases of the support service, such as staff requirements, applying client engagement teamwork plans, monitoring hours, and skills assessment - Coordinating and participating in monitoring and reviewing quality control related to service delivery - Maintaining relationships with abroad teams to provide excellent client service throughout the year - Upholding high technical and professional standards - Developing, motivating, and training staff-level team members, advising on career development - Participating in the design and delivery of training programs to continually develop and expand knowledge and expertise through learning opportunities - Proactively anticipating and addressing concerns, escalating issues as they arise - Participating in a range of projects and collaborating with multiple teams, demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work - Actively seeking opportunities to expand services to US business teams Qualifications: - Being a team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach - Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity - Good presentation and communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office tools - Open and honest communication with clients and colleagues - Fluency in written and verbal English,
