Associate Engineer - Sourcing & Procurement - Electrical

As a Procurement Manager in the Cables / Wiring Harness industry, your role will involve developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and service providers. - Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities. - Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and conditions. You will also be responsible for coordinating with internal departments such as sales, production, and logistics to ensure the timely and efficient flow of goods. Overseeing inventory management, coordinating with logistics teams, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods will be crucial aspects of your role. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, resolving any issues that arise in a timely manner, and conducting regular reviews of supplier performance will be essential in ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, analyzing procurement trends, supplier performance, and inventory levels to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies, mitigating supply chain risks, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction within the supply chain and procurement processes will be critical to your success in this role. Utilizing ERP/SAP systems or similar order management platforms to track, manage, and process procurement orders, and ensuring smooth integration with the company's systems for efficient data management and reporting will also be part of your responsibilities.
