Summary: In the dynamic online travel industry, offering the best price is crucial due to evolving user behavior and the rise of price comparison websites. To achieve success, we must optimize our prices strategically, considering short-term margins and long-term growth while being responsive to market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitive pressures. We are seeking a senior leader to develop Agoda's global Pricing strategy and implement it using various tactics and tools, including price display and machine learning algorithms. This role involves close collaboration with Agoda's senior management, marketing, and product teams, as well as leading a team of pricing managers and analysts. What You Would Be Doing: - Collaborate with C-level executives and internal stakeholders to craft a global pricing strategy aligned with Agoda's priorities - Manage a significant budget and provide transparency to internal stakeholders - Partner with the Product team to develop tools for executing and monitoring pricing actions and enhancing price display across all channels - Work with the Market Development team to gather benchmarking data, market intelligence, and respond to competitive moves - Design and implement pricing campaigns that balance short-term financial goals with long-term strategic objectives - Lead and mentor a team of analysts and campaign managers, while recruiting top talent to expand the team Key Skills for Success in this Role: - Experience in articulating strategic issues and negotiating with C-level executives; background in leading strategy consulting projects is a plus - Strong analytical skills and a passion for data analysis - Ability to foster collaboration across teams and nationalities - Proven track record in people management, including hiring and developing high-performing professionals - Proficiency in P&L management, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to achieving goals - Exposure to IT and Product Development, along with a strong business acumen Equal Opportunity Employer: We value diversity and are committed to providing equal opportunities to all qualified candidates.
