Associate Director- Technology Solution Designer

Role Overview: As a Technology Solution Designer at Prudential Health India (PHI), you will play a crucial role in building a cloud-native, microservices-oriented, and open technology platform aligned with the health-insurance domain. Your responsibility will include converting business requirements into detailed technology specifications, ensuring high quality deliverables, and leading the design and integration efforts for various systems and applications. Key Responsibilities: - Deeply understand the long-term architectural direction and interactions between applications - Evaluate business requirements and design solutions considering Functionality, Interoperability, Performance, Scalability, Reliability & Availability - Identify alternative design options and trade-offs to handle both functional and non-functional requirements - Own the preparation of detailed design specifications and ensure adoption and implementation of defined solutions - Collaborate with technical teams to develop system integration plans and review progress - Lead governance forums to create harmony in application designs and ensure compliance with architecture standards - Identify and document application/integration components for recording in a suitable EA tool - Recommend and implement improvements to design processes/tools to adapt to evolving business and technology landscape - Ensure tight governance around security, availability, and performance in application designs Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Technology solution leader with overall experience between 8 - 18 years - Excellent knowledge of modern design patterns like CQRS, SAGA, micro-services, etc. - Proven ability with UML (Unified Modelling Language) to create sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, state diagrams, etc. - Familiarity with Enterprise Integration and Messaging Patterns, SOA Governance practices - Good understanding of DevOps practices - Bachelors in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent; Suitable certifications for key skills - Fluent written and spoken English (Note: The above title and qualifications may vary based on experience, expertise, and performance),
