Associate Director Operational Excellence LDC

As the Operational Excellence Associate Director for Lean Digital Core (LDC) in the MEOG team at Novartis, your main responsibility will be to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Medical Affairs processes. Your mission is to drive process excellence, ensure compliance, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and user experience across the global Medical Affairs organization. You will work closely with the Global Process Owner Medical Affairs to successfully deliver improvements in Medical Affairs processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead submission readiness reviews in the content (medical and commercial) review process and ensure project status meets schedules and deadlines. - Manage and facilitate the full content approval process for both non-promotional and promotional materials. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and route materials for compliance review. - Provide guidance on submission requirements to project owners and vendors/agencies. - Identify opportunities for automation and digital enablement. - Collaborate with cross-functional and country medical teams to translate Medical Affairs needs into User Requirements. - Support LDC implementation through various release stages from engagement to post go-live support. **Qualifications Required:** - At least 8 years of pharmaceutical experience. - Minimum 3 years of experience working in a matrix environment supporting complex international multidisciplinary teams. - Strong experience in Process Mapping and Business Processes Management tools. - Demonstrated experience in utilizing digital tools for operational excellence initiatives. - Familiarity with ERP systems preferred. - Strong adaptability, willingness to speak up, and challenge.
