Job Description

Role Overview: As an Associate Director, Data Privacy at Accenture, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the global Data Privacy Program. Reporting to and closely cooperating with the Senior Director, Data Privacy, Data&AI Compliance, you will ensure that Accenture meets contractual obligations, legal and regulatory requirements, and voluntary commitments in the field of data privacy. Your focus will be on bringing Accenture's values and culture to life through overseeing important processes to ensure compliance with laws and regulations worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the scope of the program, ensuring it operates as designed and is regularly updated and enhanced to address current and emerging risks. - Recruit, integrate, and lead a global and diverse team of dedicated experts. - Identify and translate relevant legal, regulatory, and policy requirements into Accenture policy, standards, and controls. - Develop tools and concepts for conducting reviews and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance, with a focus on high-risk areas. - Collaborate with risk, information security, and other teams to build and run the program effectively. - Partner with key business stakeholders and senior individuals across Accenture to address compliance issues in new services, offerings, projects, and initiatives. - Stay informed about technology trends and developments, providing guidance, training, and thought leadership for internal audiences. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly legal and business teams. - Work with legal professionals and business teams in remote locations, offering advice and guidance in a business-focused and pragmatic manner. Qualifications Required: - Demonstrated expertise in data privacy, policy, laws, and regulations. - Experience overseeing compliance programs in multinational organizations, preferably in the technology or digital sector. - Proven ability to develop and implement strategies. - Strong analytical skills to identify trends and issues and provide practical recommendations. - Ability to build professional relationships with experts and regulators, representing Accenture externally when necessary. - Excellent decision-making skills, common sense, and risk assessment abilities. - Effective communication skills to engage with all levels of management, staff, and diverse cultures. - Highly motivated, proactive, and committed to company vision and policies. - Curious and eager to learn about new technologies, industry best practices, and risk areas. - Strong commitment to ethics, values, and company culture. - Skilled in building and maintaining global programs and relationships. - Proficiency in English.,
