Associate Director - Architecture

You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers and contractors to optimize the technical design. Your role will involve ensuring the design is fully integrated with other disciplines, establishing a library of standard details, and providing effective design management input to realize the full intent of projects. Additionally, you will manage the integration of design elements, support drafting design guidelines and scope of works, and oversee the submission of design stages. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for technical design optimization - Ensure design integration with other disciplines through proactive solutions - Establish library of standard details and production process - Provide effective design management input and consultation to clients - Manage integration of design elements into technical design - Support drafting of design guidelines, briefs, and scope of works - Manage design submissions through various stages - Work as part of a multi-discipline team to ensure coordination - Mentor and manage team members - Drive business initiatives and recruitment efforts - Ensure design efforts meet scheduled deliverables, costs, and quality standards - Align designs with best practices in Environmental & Sustainability - Drive excellence in health and safety in the design process - Identify value engineering ideas to cut costs and provide recommendations Qualifications: - Experience in delivering detailed design packages with Revit - Proficiency in modeling and drafting with Revit - Degree in architecture, civil engineering, or relevant discipline - Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate and coordinate responsibilities - Excellent conflict resolution and management skills - Strong team player with the ability to balance conflicting priorities - Excellent analytical and communication skills About Us: WSP is a leading professional services consulting firm dedicated to local communities and international projects.
