Assoc. Dir. DDIT IES Cloud Engineering Job Descripon Summary Responsible for designing and developing a cu¢ng-edge AI and Genera¢ve AI infrastructure on AWS Cloud pla¢orm and COLO, tailored for pharmaceu¢cal business use-cases. The pla¢orm will facilitate Biomedical research scien¢sts and other business users for early molecule development and other research ac¢vi¢es by providing robust, scalable, and secure compu¢ng resources. Job Descrip¢on Major accountabili¢es: ¢ Architect and Design: Lead the design and architecture of an GPU based AI infrastructure pla¢orm, with a focus on suppor¢ng Genera¢ve AI workloads and advanced analy¢cs for pharma business use-cases like BioNeMo, Alpha Fold, ESM Fold, Open Fold, ProtGPT and NVIDIA Clara suite. ¢ ¢ Pla¢orm Development: Work with Biomedical research scien¢sts to develop and implement technical solu¢ons for ML/Ops (Run:AI) hosted on K8 EKS cluster. Data Management: Oversee the design and implementa¢on of data storage, retrieval, and processing pipelines, ensuring the ecient handling of large datasets, including genomics and chemical compound data. ¢ ¢ Security and Compliance: In collabora¢on with cloud domain security architects, implement robust security measures for mul¢-cloud environment and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, par¢cularly in handling business sensi¢ve data. Collabora¢on: Work closely with Biomedical research & Data scien¢sts and other business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solu¢ons. ¢ ¢ Performance Op¢miza¢on: Op¢mize the performance and cost-eciency of the pla¢orm, including monitoring and scaling resources as needed. Innova¢on: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in AI and cloud infrastructure, con¢nuously exploring new ways to enhance the pla¢orm's capabili¢es.

Adop¢on and development of Agile, Produc¢za¢on and DevSecOps prac¢ces. Opera¢ons stability and eec¢ve risk management. Feedback on customer experience. Minimum Requirements: Educa¢on & Cer¢ca¢on: ¢ ¢ Bachelors degree in Informa¢on Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering. AWS Solu¢on Architect cer¢ca¢on professional Work Experience: ¢ ¢ ¢ 8+ years of strong technical hands-on experience of delivering infrastructure and pla¢orm services across geographic and business boundaries. Working experience on GPU based AI Infrastructure. Experience in NVIDIA DGX Infra is highly preferred. Deep understanding of Architecture and Design of Pla¢orm Engineering products with focus mainly on Data science, ML/Ops and Bio science or Pharma Gen AI founda¢onal models. Experience in NVIDIA BioNeMo or Clara is highly preferred. ¢ ¢ ¢ ¢ Extensive experience in building infra solu¢ons on AWS, par¢cularly with services like AWS Bedrock, Amazon Q, SageMaker, ECS/EKS Knowledge of containeriza¢on and orchestra¢on technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with DevOps prac¢ces and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring solu¢ons. Excellent skills in collabora¢ng with business users, Product team, Opera¢onalizing the delivered products and working closely with Security for implemen¢ng compliance. ¢ Good knowledge on implemen¢ng well dened & industry standard Change management process for pla¢orm & its products. Have a well-structured Use-case onboarding process. Should ensure to have documenta¢on for Pla¢orm products and implementa¢ons done.
¢ ¢ ¢ Experience with DevOps Orchestra¢on/Congura¢on/Con¢nuous Integra¢on Management technologies Good understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts for infrastructure Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and applica¢on deployment issues. Skills & Competencies: ¢ Comfortable being the rst line of defense in the event of an outage, capable of working with mul¢ple vendors to arrive at a solu¢on ASAP - Good at mi¢ga¢ng the outage to keep our business running ¢ ¢ Has one eye on cost, and one eye on the needs of the team. Track record of delivering projects on ¢me and on budget, passion for coding, and good oral and wri¢en communica¢on skills. ¢ Con¢nues to iterate on Architecture to improve performance / reliability / durability / exibility ¢ ¢ Need someone who can make a contribu¢on day one and hit the ground running.
