Associate - Direct Tax

You are a reputed Law Firm looking to hire a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join the Direct Tax Team. As an Associate-Direct Tax, your responsibilities will include providing advisory services to clients such as drafting legal memos, Due Diligences, M&A Tax, and Restructuring. You will also assist in drafting responses to tax authorities, represent clients before income tax authorities, and conduct research on various tax issues. In addition, you will be responsible for tax compliance tasks such as preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and corporations, advance tax workings, FLA, SFT, TDS returns, and 26AS reconciliations. Client management will be a key aspect of the role, involving communication with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for tax compliance, litigation, and advisory services. You will also be expected to supervise, mentor, and develop team members while reviewing their work. To qualify for this position, you should be a Chartered Accountant, Law Graduate, or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant. This is a full-time job located in Defence Colony, New Delhi, with an immediate joining requirement.
