Role Definition
As Associate Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the Engineering & Design of Solar Turbines Construction Services Products. You will involve in the design of the Oil & Gas Projects such as Gas Compression stations project, you will demonstrate designing, implementing, and maintaining Architectural/Structural design within the Oil & Gas industry
The identified candidate will be a member of a cross-functional team that Involves in FEED, Detail engineering, Procurement, inhouse Fabrication and Commissioning activities and ensues all performance metrics are achieved
Responsibilities
- The candidate should possess a minimum of 6-8 years of industry experience in engineering / design execution and associated applications. Experience should include significant, demonstrated results leading Architectural/Structural design efforts supporting industrial gas turbine packaging and associated gas compression and power generation projects and BOP systems engineering and design. 
- In addition, the candidate should demonstrate knowledge of discipline-related industry Codes & standards such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, OSHA etc and have experience with standards application across engineering specifications and vendor documentation. Comprehensive familiarity with CAD software packages supporting Architectural/Structural design and broad knowledge of design and drafting techniques including framing drawing generation, foundation drawing creations, and details dwg creations.
- Knowledge of Structural Engineering Design Codes & Standards such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, OSHA etc
- Architectural 3D Modelling using Creo & Revit
- Equip layout, Arch. dwgs Plans/Elevations, details, site installation Dwgs.
- Review of all the Architectural deliverable and timely delivery with highest Quality.
- Co-ordinating design activities with other Disciplines
- Structural Member design, Connection design, Foundation Design, Pipe Rack design, Loading and load assessment.
- Design and optimization of Pipe rack and Cable tray Support structure Platforms, Ladders, Handrails, Roof Design.
- 3D Modelling using Autodesk Advance Steel, Revit.
- 3D Model Review, Clash Check and Resolution.
- 2D Drawing Generation, generation of Definition Drawings, Foundation drawings.
- Preparation MTO, BOM from Structural 3D Models.
- Flexible and quick to learn global developments in EPC- Oil & Gas projects technologies and adopt.
- Continuous improvement of the design activity in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Provide virtual technical support for shop floor for the orders engineered & commissioning support.
Preferred Competencies:
- Definition drawings, 3D Modelling, Smart attributes.
- Architectural 3D Modelling using Creo & Revit
- Structure drawings Details, Plan & Elevation drawing, layouts,
- MTOs/BOMs, NWD models, Clash checks, Vendor Drawing Review.
- Working experience with 3D Design Tools: Revit, Creo, Advance Steel, Tekla, AutoCad & E3D.
Degree Requirement
BE/B.Tech/ in Civil/ Structural Engineering from accredited Engineering Institute.
