Associate Data Scientist

As an Associate Data Scientist in Chennai, your role involves developing analytics models using specialized tools based on the business problem and available data. You will be responsible for identifying the right set of models, developing the necessary code/packages, and evaluating the validity of the models from both scientific and business perspectives. Additionally, you will support the Data Science Team in designing and executing analytics projects, collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver on project tasks and deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Develop analytics models using specialized tools - Identify and develop the right set of models - Evaluate model validity scientifically and from a business perspective - Support the Data Science Team in project design and execution - Collaborate with stakeholders to complete tasks and deliverables - Identify actionable insights to address challenges/opportunities - Articulate business insights and recommendations to stakeholders - Understand business KPIs, frameworks, and drivers for performance Qualifications Required: - B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, M.C.A - Deep expertise in machine learning techniques - Advanced knowledge in various machine learning techniques such as Decision Trees, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, etc. - Strong experience in specialized analytics tools and technologies including Python, NLP, IP, DL, SPSS, Spotfire, Tableau, Qlickview, and more - Awareness of technologies like Data Bricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Agile/Scrum ways of working In addition to the technical skills, your role will involve working collaboratively across multiple sets of stakeholders, including business SMEs, IT, Data teams, and Analytics resources, to deliver project deliverables and tasks effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of modeling and technology skills to derive valuable insights and recommendations for the organization.
