You will be working as an Associate Consultant/ Consultant in the Software Asset Management team at EY. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Responsible for reporting and analyzing software installations compared to software licenses - Reporting and analysis to assist in managing maintenance, support, and license renewals proactively - Interpreting performance metrics, conducting root cause analysis, identifying solutions, and resolving issues - Demonstrating analytical and systematic problem-solving skills - Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains - Collaborating with other functions in EYT for quality improvement You will work under general supervision, overseeing certain responsibilities of Associate level personnel. You will have discretion in identifying and resolving complex problems, with specific instructions given and work reviewed at frequent milestones. You should be able to work under your initiative to achieve agreed goals and discuss findings with SAM leadership as needed. Skills and attributes required for this role include: - Excellent knowledge of Hardware Asset Management process - Strong experience with asset management and discovery tools - Experience in developing, implementing, and refining SAM processes and procedures - Good understanding of other Service Management processes, especially Change Management - Intermediate to advanced Excel skills - Excellent verbal and written English language skills - Good presentation skills - Experience working in a virtual environment - Familiarity with Service Now CMDB Qualifications needed for this role: - Minimum of 2 years of College in a related technology field or equivalent job experience - 2-3 years of experience in a Software Asset Management role - Suggested technical certifications: Certified Software Asset Manager, Certified IT Asset Manager Additionally, strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, negotiation skills, flexibility, adaptability, creativity, comfort with senior executives, leadership skills, and supervisory responsibilities are desirable.
