Associate Consultant / Senior Associate Consultant - Critical Care Medicine

As a Medical Staff member in Mumbai, you will be expected to maintain a professional approach with patients, staff, and visitors. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing medical cover, both routine and emergency, during your duty hours, collaborating with other specialties within the institute. - Performing procedures such as Central line insertion, IV channelization, Intubation, and operating instruments like Ventilator. - Adhering to clinical safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols at all times. - Monitoring patients as needed and promptly reporting any complex health problems to the relevant doctor. - Supervising the daily clinical management of patients under the guidance of Consultants. - Prescribing pain management medications and ensuring effective communication with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare workers. - Completing treatment sheets with diagnosis in capital letters, dated, named, and signed by the writing doctor. - Assisting Consultants during rounds, following up on patients for further care, and preparing discharge summaries. - Assessing newly admitted patients, following the on-call and duty rota based on the department's requirements. - Participating in Quality Improvement Initiatives and protocols of the organization. Your qualifications should include an MBBS degree, MD/DNB in Medicine or Anesthesia, and relevant Fellowship or Diploma in Specialization. You should have 5 to 10 years of post-MD/DNB work experience.,
