Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Knowledge of current medical practices and protocols. Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.

The Medical Advisor is a member of the medical team which develops and manages health and wellness programs for Cigna customers. Together with a team of nurses and physicians she/he will ensure attainment of quality, production, timeliness, cost containment goals, and excellent customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers. Ability to review, investigate, and respond to external and internal inquires/complaints. Provides guidance and acts as a mentor or coach for the nurses and other non-clinical staff. He/she works with a multicultural population and is constantly aware of the cultural differences among that population and the geographical regions. Major responsibilities and desired results: Part of a clinical team that provides evidence based medical management services to customers worldwide Give evidence-based advice on medical claims, taking into account compliance, internationally accepted protocols and local and/or regional customs and regulations. Support and monitor the case management, disease management and other clinical services and assure quality of performance against QA standards to promote optimal service delivery and ensure accurate statistical data and reports. Give advice on appropriate corrective action if necessary. Assist in fraud detection. Assist is the coordination of processes for improving quality of care and health outcomes for specifically delineated projects or populations. Excellent communication and facilitation skills are keys to success. Assist and support the team in cost containment, assist in projects and service delivery to meet goals. Work together with the team on quality improvement and clinical management projects within Clinical Operations Serves as a resource/educator regarding specific areas of expertise. Able to create and implement appropriate educational clinical programs content for internal and external audiences and link with Cigna University resources. Other duties as assigned. As a practitioner for an Ayurveda clinic, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality Ayurvedic healthcare treatment to patients (coming to the Ayurveda clinic) and ensuring effective outcomes. You will be located at one of the companys clinics and treating patients. We will be starting with treating patients suffering from Osteoarthritis. We expect you to be compassionate, emphatic towards patients, explaining them clearly and focussed towards curing them. Key Responsibilities: Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough patient assessments looking at their medical history, doing physical examinations and using Ayurvedic diagnostic techniques. Explain the diagnosis and the required treatment in detail to the patient clearing all their queries, concerns Ayurvedic Treatment: Administer Ayurvedic treatments, therapies, and dietary recommendations ensuring effective outcome Patient Education: Educate patients on Ayurvedic principles, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health measures. Offer guidance on diet, exercise, and stress management in alignment with Ayurvedic practices. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up recommendations. Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest developments in Ayurveda and related healthcare fields. Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in Ayurvedic practice. Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. Qualifications: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree or equivalent from a recognised institution. Valid license to practice Ayurvedic medicine as per medical council. Minimum of 3-4 years of clinical experience as an Ayurvedic physician treating patients suffering from Osteoarthritis. Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in Ayurvedic treatment modalities Compassion and empathy for patients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Administrative skills and able to lead team of paramedical staff Fully equipped to perform or supervise Panchakarma therapies Conversant in Hindi, English, Marathi MD (Ayurveda),BAMS, Experience of Treating Joint pains

Based on patiend detailes gathered around personal, behavioral, medical and other relevant details of patient (including food /drinking habits and dining preferences) make a relevant recommendation in consultation with the Diabetologist or Surgeon doctor To plan counseling session and educate clients on appropriate diets, menu planning and preparation of food to treat diabetes in order to enhance and maintain optimum health. Monitor and review progress and follow-up of patient after session as per recommended guidelines in Standard Operating Procedures.
