Associate Consultant - Real Estate Valuation

Role Overview: As a member of the KGS team, your role will involve utilizing your expertise in real estate valuation to provide valuable insights and analysis. You will be responsible for reviewing valuation reports, analyzing financial models, conducting market research, and staying updated on industry developments. Your understanding of sales comparison approaches and financial forecasting will be crucial in contributing to the team's success. Key Responsibilities: - Have a good understanding of the sales comparison approach to value different property types, with experience in databases like Costar considered advantageous. - Review third-party valuation and management reports to ensure reasonableness. - Produce and analyze financial models, assessing commercial data that underlies financial forecasts. - Conduct market research to comprehend real estate geography dynamics across various asset classes such as residential, office, retail, industrial, and data centers. - Stay informed about current business, economic, and regulatory developments impacting the US real estate sector. Qualifications Required: - CA/CFA/MBA (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management) or a degree in Real Estate. - 1 to 3 years of working experience in real estate valuation roles. - Proficiency in real estate concepts and valuation methodologies, including income, market, and cost approaches. - Familiarity with accounting and financial statements analysis. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.,
