Job Description

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities Define and own the end-to-end BI and reporting architecture using Power BIDesign scalable data models, semantic layers, and reporting frameworksEstablish Power BI best practices, standards, and governanceArchitect and optimize data integration, ETL, and SQL-based solutions
Oversee security, RLS, performance tuning, and capacity planningGuide teams on SSRS, Power BI Service, and enterprise reporting strategyDrive automation, monitoring, CI/CD, and DevOps adoption for BIPartner with business, data engineering, and leadership stakeholders
Review solution designs, conduct architecture reviews, and mitigate risksEvaluate and integrate emerging BI, automation, and AI/ML capabilities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 7 years of relevant experience
Must-Have Skills10+ years in BI, Analytics, and ReportingProven experience as a Power BI Architect / BI Solution ArchitectDeep expertise in Power BI architecture (DAX optimization, data modeling, RLS, capacity management)Advanced SQL and data warehouse design experienceStrong experience with ETL architecture and integration patternsPython automation scripting mandatoryExperience defining BI governance, security, and complianceStrong stakeholder, leadership, and decision-making skillsGood-to-Have SkillsCloud BI architecture (Azure/AWS/GCP)DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automationData governance, cataloging, and lineage toolsML/AI-enabled analytics and advanced insightsExperience leading enterprise-scale or global BI programsCGI is an equal opportunity employer
