Associate BI Developer

Role Overview: As a Business Intelligence Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in monitoring production support processes, resolving issues raised by end users, and enhancing BI solutions. Your responsibilities will include performing adhoc data analyses, understanding customers" needs, improving support processes, and staying updated on the latest technology trends within the BI industry. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor production support processes and report metrics related to scheduled jobs, data reconciliations, and production data flows - Triage and resolve issues raised by end users independently and collaboratively with Enterprise Technology and Data Management teams - Perform adhoc data analyses and provide technical support as necessary - Learn the business context of dashboards to better understand customers" needs and troubleshoot issues - Continuously enhance and troubleshoot the performance, capabilities, and functionality of BI solutions (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau, etc.) - Identify ways to improve support processes and existing products - Adapt to evolving best practices and implement dashboard design standards - Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends within the BI industry and the company - Be a thought partner to other Financial Visual Analytics team members for the design, management, and documentation of solutions for new reports and dashboards - Contribute to the team's inclusive environment that emphasizes open communication, knowledge sharing, and timely solution delivery - Contribute to a team of technically minded individuals working to establish business analytics best practices that drive improved efficiency and decision-making across the organization Qualifications Required: - B.S. degree in a quantitative field - 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools including Tableau and MicroStrategy - 3+ years of overall experience with a focus on the delivery of Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or a related field - Demonstrated skill in using advanced SQL, stored procedures, and columnar databases (Vertica preferred) - Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, especially with individuals with varying technical knowledge - Documenting technical workflows and specifications - Ability to seek guidance and learn new skills from peers (Note: The additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.),
