Job Description: QA Test Engineer (24 Years Experience) We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Test Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our Testing team. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of test plans and executing software testing activities in alignment with company guidelines and industry best practices. Prior experience with e-Commerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or Magento is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the QA and Development teams to understand requirements and define effective test strategies. Design, write, and execute test cases and scripts for both manual and automated testing. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues to closure. Participate in regular QA status meetings and provide updates on test progress, issues, and risks. Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality across all phases of the development lifecycle. Take ownership of assigned modules and ensure thorough testing before releases. Core Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; able to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate across functional teams and with international clients. Ability to empathize with end users and evaluate product quality from a customer’s perspective. Proactive in raising quality concerns and potential risks, and providing actionable solutions. Confident in negotiating timelines and prioritizing quality, even with senior developers or management, when needed. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times. Required Skills and Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. Hands-on experience with e-Commerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or Magento (at least one is required). Basic knowledge of software development methodologies and testing concepts. Familiarity with testing tools and bug tracking systems. Eagerness to learn new tools, platforms, and technologies. Ability to work under guidance but also take responsibility for assigned work items. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to automation tools and frameworks. ISTQB Certification (optional, but a plus). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
