Associate Analyst- Indirect Taxation

As an Indirect Tax Analyst at Eaton's Indirect Tax Center of Excellence in Pune, you will be responsible for the following key areas: Role Overview: You will be focusing on Indirect Tax Compliance Service and Regional Indirect Tax Management as an individual contributor in a critical role within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct data analysis of monthly AR/AP and GL extracts to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Perform control checks based on the Indirect Tax Controls framework to maintain integrity. - Prepare, review, and file VAT/GST, EC Transactions List, and Intrastat declarations within the specified deadlines. - Reconcile VAT Balance Sheet Accounts in accordance with Eaton Financial Policies. - Conduct control checks to meet Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements. - Ensure audit trail and structured support for internal and external audits. - Provide a monthly overview of Indirect Tax Key Performance Indicators and publish MIS reports. - Deliver and coordinate training programs on various Indirect Tax Processes and Procedures for Eatons business community. - Support the seamless rollout of TR One Source tool as per the roadmap. Qualifications: - CA with 0-4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in tax accounting and tax infrastructure, ideally with a multinational corporation (Manufacturing). Skills Required: - Proficiency in data processing related to financial systems and multiple ERP systems, especially Oracle, MFGPRO, and SAP. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders. - Ability to work and deliver independently with minimal supervision. - Collaborative working style with the capacity to be the go-to point of contact. - Willingness to work in a dynamic and complex organizational environment characterized by matrix relations.
